Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross driver Tanner Foust was the quickest driver on the first day of action at the Port of LA, securing pole position for the first half of the Red Bull GRC Los Angeles presented by Subaru Tecnica International double header weekend. Foust’s time of 42.228 was just 0.028 of a second quicker than his VARX team mate Scott Speed who registered the second quickest time.
